Hi, I’m Raen, a solo game dev from Germany.

Tulip3 is where I make games for fun. Usually smaller projects built around ideas I find interesting at the time. I’m not really chasing trends or big releases, just making the kind of games I enjoy. I like the process – experimenting with ideas, building things, and seeing where they go.

I often lean into a retro style – partially out of nostalgia, partially just because I like it. But there’s no strict direction. Each project goes where it makes the most sense. At least to me.

A lot of what I do starts simple enough: an idea, a mechanic, or a visual that feels worth exploring. From there, it’s about shaping it into something with a bit of character.

Outside of that, I spend a lot of time on 3D modelling, worldbuilding, and writing – most of it tied together in one way or another. Different forms, same underlying idea: building things and seeing how they come together.
